"In NCAA tournament history for basketball, what is the farthest a Big Sky team has ever gone, and who was it?

Big Sky Conference responds:

"In 1977, when the tournament consisted of 32 teams, Idaho State won two games to advance to the Elite Eight. Idaho State defeated Long Beach State 83-72 in the first round, and then topped UCLA 76-75 in the West Regional Semifinals. Idaho State fell to UNLV 107-90 in the Regional Final"
