Abbraciamento Earns Big Sky Men’s Golfer of the Week Honors
OGDEN, Utah (February 28, 2018) – Hartford’s Ambrose Abbraciamento was named the Big Sky Men’s Golfers of the Week, announced by the league on Wednesday. The weekly honor is the third of the season for Abbraciamento.
The sophomore was on fire at the Loyola Intercollegiate recording a final score of 17-under over the two-day event to take first place. It was a career-best for Abbraciamento, who went 67-67-65 to score a 199 over the three rounds. His third-round score of 65 was a career-low, as he battled back from fourth place to win the tournament.
Abbraciamento helped the Hawks to a third-place showing at the Loyola Intercollegiate. Hartford had three players in the Top 25 finishers at the two-day event, which was held at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
Hartford returns to the green March 5-6 at the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate.
