OGDEN, Utah (February 13, 2017) – With just three weeks left in the 2016-17 regular season, each Big Sky Conference men’s basketball contest becomes more crucial with league tournament seeding on the line.
Standings watch: Weber State sits atop the Big Sky standings with a 10-2 conference mark. The Wildcats hold a half-game lead over second-place North Dakota and first place in the conference could be on the line as the two teams meet on Saturday in Ogden, Utah.
Idaho and Montana are tied for No. 4 in the Big Sky table with 8-5 conference records. Idaho faces third-place Eastern Washington on Friday while Montana hosts Portland State and Sacramento State this weekend.
Top 10: Weber State’s Jeremy Senglin not only became the Big Sky Conference 3-pointers leader but the senior also moved into a tie for No. 9 in the conference’s career-scoring rankings with 1,814 points.
