OGDEN, Utah (Sept. 18, 2016) - The last weekend of non-conference play had a successful conclusion for #BigSkyFB, with the conference now turning its attention to the conference season.
The Big Sky went 3-0 against the Missouri Valley Football Conference in week three of the season, as Eastern Washington downed Northern Iowa, Cal Poly earned a road win at South Dakota State and North Dakota defeated South Dakota.
This is the first week of Big Sky Conference play, with six games opening up the 2016 #BigSkyFB conference slate. Montana and Cal Poly open the action on ROOT SPORTS, as the first game of the season for the Big Sky's television partner includes the 2015 playoff qualifier, and the upstart Mustangs.
North Dakota travels to play rival Montana State, in the first conference game for Bobcats coach Jeff Choate. Sacramento State travels to Pocatello, taking on the Idaho State Bengals.
Two of the Big Sky's highest-flying offenses will take the field, as Eastern Washington travels to Flagstaff, facing off against Northern Arizona. Weber State and UC Davis will duel in California, while Portland State travels to open conference play at defending #BigSkyFB champ Southern Utah.
