Eastern Washington, Idaho and Sacramento State all posted two wins in the opening weekend of Big Sky Conference soccer action. Eastern Washington is riding the longest winning streak in the conference with six straight victories. The Eagles are third in points in the conference and second in goals per game.
Maria Sanchez continues to lead the Big Sky in several offensive categories. The Bengal forward has 48 shots on the season and nine goals. Eastern Washington’s Chloe Williams is second in goals with eight on the year while NAU’s Hayley Wingender is third with seven goals.
Idaho goalkeeper, Amanda Poertner, is leading the conference with four shutouts in ten games of action. North Dakota’s Olivia Swenson leads with 77 saves on the season and is averaging 8.56 rejections per game.
