OGDEN, Utah (December 8, 2015) –
Sacramento State sits atop the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball rankings with a 6-2 record after the fourth week of the season. Weber State is seeing strong performances from a couple of players as Joel Bolomboy is tied for the national lead in double-doubles with eight. WSU’s Jeremy Senglin ranks 16th nationally in points per game while EWU’s Venky Jois is in the top-10 nationally in field goal percentage.

This  Week’s Top Perfomances
James McGee (SUU) - Had a big week in helping Southern Utah to a pair of victories.  McGee poured in 35 points in just 39 minutes of play to help SUU beat LaVerne at home on Thursday night and beat UVU in Orem on Saturday night.

Corey Baldwin (UND) - Baldwin averaged 16.0 ppg off the bench to help North Dakota register back-to-back wins for the first time this season. The JUCO-transfer scored 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the floor in a 79-59 win over Waldorf. He then scored all of his career-high 20 points after halftime to help UND prevail over Bradley in double-overtime.

Baldwin had 18 of UND’s 27 second-half points as the Fighting Hawks erased a 10-point deficit in the final eight minutes to force overtime. Baldwin had seven points during an 11-0 run that he capped with two free throws to give UND the lead back at 42-41 with just over three minutes to play. In those closing three minutes, he scored five more points, including the final two points on a mid-range jumper to put UND up 47-45 before Bradley made a game-tying basket in the closing minute. He added a season-high six rebounds against the Braves as well. Baldwin finished the two-game stretch making 12-of-22 shots from the floor (54.5 percent) and 5-of-13 from 3-point range (38.5 percent).

Joel Bolomboy (WSU) - Averaged 16 points and 12.5 rebounds per game while shooting 64 percent from the field in two games last week. He had 20 points and 13 rebounds in Tuesday’s win over Pacific Union College and followed that up with 12 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday’s loss to BYU.
