OGDEN, Utah (December 28, 2015) – The Road to Reno begins in earnest as non-conference action ends and the conference portion of the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball season begins. Weber State and Sacramento State each round out their non-conference schedules tonight while Idaho State and Portland State end their non-conference seasons tomorrow.

Big Sky play begins New Year’s Eve as eight of the league’s teams will be in action. All Big Sky men’s basketball games can be seen for free at WatchBigSky.com.

This week’s top performers:
Tyler Hall (MSU) - Tyler Hall scored 30 points in the final two games of Montana State’s year-ending road trip against Syracuse and Buffalo, including his second double-double against the Bulls (18 points, 11 rebounds). Hall also dished out four assists with three steals, each matching season’s bests, at UB. Hall is 8th in the Big Sky in scoring, and is the only freshman in the top 25 on that list, and he’s also tied for 12th in the Big Sky in rebounding, the top freshman on that list. Hall has scored at least 10 in 11 of Montana State’s 12 games this season.

Dallas Anglin (UNC) - Anglin averaged 18.0 points in two losses, including career-high 23 points at Jacksonville State, the first 20-point game of his career at UNC. He followed it up with 13 points at Mississippi State. He shot 55.0% from the field in the two games including 50.% from three. He was also 84% from the free throw line (11-of-13)

Drick Bernstine (UND) - Filling in at point guard against a 9-2 Kansas State team, the natural power forward scored 13 points, pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds and added five assists in the 63-49 loss to the Wildcats. Bernstine finished 5-for-10 from the floor and registered his second-consecutive double-double.
