OGDEN, Utah (March 11, 2014) – After two months of competition, the Weber State men the Northern Colorado women top the Big Sky Tennis standings. 
 
The Weber State men went 1-1 over the weekend after losing to Air Force 4-3 and defeating Northern Colorado 6-1 in a conference match.  The Sacramento State men earned two conference wins after sweeping Portland State and Southern Utah 7-0.  The Hornet men also faced San Francisco and lost 6-1.  The Montana State men had a busy week as they went 2-2.  The Bobcat men earned a 7-0 conference win over Portland State and defeated Seattle 4-3.  The two losses for the MSU men came to Seattle and Portland. In the Eastern Washington men’s only match of the week, it defeated conference opponent Idaho State 4-3.  The Northern Colorado men went 1-1 over the weekend after defeating Metro State 7-0 and losing to Weber State.
 
The Northern Colorado women defeated Metro State 7-0 in its only match over the weekend. The Weber State women went 3-0 over the weekend after defeating Colorado Mesa 6-1 and 4-3, and defeating Dixie State 5-2.  The Portland State women went 2-0 after defeating Nebraska-Omaha 6-1 and conference opponent North Dakota 4-3.  The Southern Utah women went 1-1 after defeating Dominican University 5-4 and falling to San Francisco 4-0.
 
The Portland State men faced three conference opponents and went 1-2.  The Viking men lost to Sacramento State and Montana State but defeated Southern Utah 7-0.  The Southern Utah men lost to Sacramento State and Portland State 7-0.  The Montana men lost three matches over the weekend, losing to Nevada 5-2, Grand Canyon 4-3, and UC Davis 6-1. The North Dakota men lost to Creighton and to No. 44 Nebraska.
 
The Northern Arizona women went 1-2 after losing to Western Michigan 6-1, Gonzaga 5-2, and defeating Eastern Washington 5-1.  The Eastern Washington women went 1-1 in two conference matches after defeating Idaho State 4-3 and falling to Northern Arizona.  The Montana women
went 1-2 over the weekend after defeating UC Riverside 6-1 and losing to No. 57 Long Beach State 7-0 and Cal State Northridge 4-3.
