OGDEN, UTAH (August 27. 2013)  - BigSkyTV.org has been rebranded as WatchBigSky.com, the Big Sky Conference announced on Tuesday.

The Big Sky’s digital network powered by America ONE Sports will continue to bring hundreds of events to fans and alumni free of charge. Most football, volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball games held in Big Sky venues will be video streamed through WatchBigSky.com this upcoming season.

Events will again be available through personal computers, as well as Android and Apple tables and smart phones. Viewers can enjoy events live or on-demand.

In roughly six weeks, a free WatchBigSky App will be available. America ONE Sports is currently developing the App.

“Many viewers have been asking for an App for their smart phones and tablets, and we’re very excited with what we’ve seen of it so far with the development,’’ said Big Sky Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Jon Kasper. “The new App is one of the reasons behind the change from Big Sky TV to WatchBigSky. More and more viewers are moving away from PCs to devices like the iPad to view live video. We’re hopeful to have the App available in early October, if not sooner.’’

The first events of the 2013-14 campaign on WatchBigSky.com are Thursday night. In non-conference football games, North Dakota plays host to Valparaiso, Eastern Oregon is at Portland State, and second-ranked Montana State takes on Monmouth.

This week’s schedule also features 12 volleyball matches, and three Saturday football games.

Viewers who already have BigSkyTV.org accounts will be able to use those accounts on WatchBigSky.com. A new account is not needed.  New viewers can create and account at anytime by visiting WatchBigSky.com.

Viewers are reminded to download the latest versions of Adobe Flash and Ocotshape. Links for both downloads are available on the WatchBigSky.com home page.
