Idaho State’s women’s basketball team defeated Northern Colorado Thursday night to remain perfect in Big Sky Conference play.

ISU defeated NC 64-50 in Greeley, Colo., Montana State defeated Portland State 70-50, Eastern Washington defeated Montana 67-57, and Sacramento State defeated Weber State 83-68.

ISU was led by Lindsey Reed, who had 15 points, Chelsea Pickering added 14 points and Ashleigh Vella recorded 13. Cydney Horton led on the boards with 10. NC was led by Lauren Oosdyke, who had 17 points and was the only Bear player to score double-digit points. Amy Marin led on the boards with six. Idaho State moved to 7-0 in conference.

The Bengals shot 32 percent from the field to NC’s 42 percent. ISU was 83 percent from the field throw line on 19-of-23 shots. The Bengals out rebounded NC 43-27 including 18 offensive boards.

Montana State was led by Katie Bussey, who recorded 20 points, Chelsea Banis added 17 points and led on the boards with nine, and Rachel Semansky recorded 12 points. PSU was led by Courtney VanBrocklin who had 17 points and Eryn Jones added 11. Keaton McFadden led on the boards with 10.

The Bobcats shot 45 percent form the field to PSU 34 percent. The Vikings had 23 turnovers for the game to MSU’s 11.

EWU was led by Chene Cooper, who had 18 points and nine assists, Carrie Ojeda added 16 points and led on the boards with eight, and Breanne Ryan recorded 15 points. UM was led by Alyssa Smith, who had 16 points, Torry HIll added 14, Kenzie De Boer recorded 12 and Katie Baker added 11. Baker and Jordan Sullivan led on the boards with seven.

EWU shot 45 percent for the game to UM’s 35 percent. The largest lead for EWU was 18 with 1:59 left in the first half.

SAC was led by Alle Moreno, who had 26 points. She shot 8-of-13 from behind the arc. Emily Christensen added 13 points and Kylie Kuhns had a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds. WSU was led by Shaunte Taylor and Mikell Woodfield, who each added 12 points. Laura Palmere added 10 and Amanda Hughes had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

SAC shot 44 percent from the field to WSU 34 percent. The Hornets recorded 31 points off of turnovers. WSU had 26 turnovers for the game to SAC’s 15 and the Hornets recorded 19 steals. Going into this game, the Hornets had a 0-9 record on the road this season and had lost 19 straight road games. The Hornets' last win came Dec. 5, 2010 over Santa Clara.

WBB is back in action on Saturday and can be seen on Big Sky TV for free. At 2:05 p.m. MST, Weber State will host Idaho State, Portland State travels to Montana, and Eastern Washington and Montana State will tip off in Bozeman, Mont. At 6:35 p.m. MST, Northern Arizona will face Sacramento State. That game can be viewed on NAU-TV and Fox College Sports.
