League Announces Staff Changes

The Big Sky Conference announced the addition of Megan Lobdell to the conference staff, and announced a new position for Tanner Gooch on Thursday

Lobdell has been named the league’s media relations director. She will serve as the primary contact for women’s basketball and volleyball, as well as track and field. She will also assist in other league-sponsored sports.

Lobdell comes to the Big Sky Conference from Loyola University in Maryland, where she served as a Media Relations Assistant. Prior to her stint at Loyola, Lobdell served five years as a student-assistant in the media relations department at Eastern Washington University. Lobdell, a native of Deer Park, Wash., earned a bachelor of arts degree in public relations from Eastern Washington in 2010.

Gooch came to the Big Sky Conference in July of 2008 as a media relations intern. He was promoted to Media Relations Director in January of 2010, where he also spent time developing marketing strategies for the Big Sky. Gooch earned his master’s degree in sports leadership from Northeastern University, and an undergraduate degree from Montana State University in 2007.
