Third-ranked Montana State remained undefeated in league play on Saturday, a day when all four home teams won Big Sky Conference football games.

Montana State topped Northern Arizona 41-24 in Bozeman. No. 14 Montana rallied for a 30-24 victory over Portland State as the Grizzlies celebrated the 25th anniversary of Washington-Grizzly Stadium. Weber State cruised to a 39-12 win over Idaho State, and Eastern Washington topped Northern Colorado 48-27.

Montana State QB DeNarius McGhee completed 18-of-22 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns, guiding a Bobcat offense that rolled up 543 yards of total offense. Running back Cody Kirk rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown, while fellow running back Tray Robinson rushed for 107 yards and a score. The Bobcats remained in first place with a 4-0 conference record. The Bobcats improved to 6-1 overall with a six-game winning streak.  MSU's defense held NAU to 59 rushing yards and sacked Lumberjack QB Cary Gossart five times.

In Missoula, Montana rallied from a 13-0 deficit to down Portland State. Running back Jordan Canada rushed for a career-high 159 yards and a touchdown to lead the UM offense, which finished with 255 rushing yards. Dan Moore tied the game at 24-24 with a 1-yard run late in the third quarter. Brody McKnight kicked two fourth-quarter field goals for the Grizzlies. Portland State’s Cory McCaffrey, the nation’s leading rusher, left in the fourth quarter with an injury after picking up 103 yards and one touchdown. Montana is now 4-1 in conference.

In Ogden, Weber State QB Mike Hoke completed seven passes, but four of them went for touchdowns. Hoke threw TD passes of 83 and 56 to Shaydon Kehano, The Wildcats had 200 passing yards and 300 on the ground. No Weber State running back rushed for more than 80 yards. Weber State improved to 3-1 in league. The Wildcats beat Idaho State for the ninth straight time. Rodrick Rumble had 14 catches for 166 yards and a touchdown for the Bengals.

In Cheney, Eastern Washington senior QB Bo Levi Mitchell threw for 400 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for another score at the Eagles topped the winless Bears. Wide receiver Nicholas Edwards caught two TD passes, and Greg Herd had 11 catches for 159 yards and one touchdown. Seth Lobato threw for 408 yards in the loss. Northern Colorado wide receiver Patrick Walker caught 14 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown.
