Roper, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound senior from Buford, Ga., came off the bench and completed 16-of-19 passes for 189 yards and two touchdowns as Montana rallied for a 28-25 win over Sacramento State, avoiding a rare three-game losing streak. Minter picked off a Bo Levi Mitchell pass and returned it 53 yards for a touchdown to give MSU a 13-0 first-quarter lead. Minter also tallied a pair of solo tackles and two pass breakups as the Bobcats held the Eagles to just seven points, their lowest scoring output in 14 games.
