Catch Quarterfinals, Women's Race on Big Sky TV

Men’s Championship Quarterfinal action, and the final seven regular-season games of the women’s basketball season can all be seen for free this week on Big Sky TV.

The final week of women’s action is full of suspense, as no team has locked in a seed for the upcoming conference championship.

First-place Eastern Washington can clinch the No. 1 seed and the right to host the championship with a victory on Saturday over Portland State. Action from Cheney begins at 2 p.m. Pacific.

Second-place Sacramento State still has a chance to win the conference title and host the tournament. The Hornets need two victories and an Eastern Washington loss. Sacramento State is at Idaho State on Friday at 6 p.m. Mountain, and then at Weber State on Saturday at 7 p.m. Mountain.

Women’s action begins on Thursday night with two games. Montana, which has clinched a tournament berth, takes on Northern Arizona at 6:35 p.m. Mountain. That game can also be seen on Dish Network channel 9411.

Montana State has also clinched a tournament bid. The Bobcats are at Northern Colorado at 7 p.m. Mountain.

The two men’s quarterfinal games both begin at 7 p.m. Mountain in the Treasure State.

No. 6 seed Portland State, looking for its third straight conference championship, is at No. 3 Montana State. The Bobcats swept the season series with the Vikings, and this is a rematch of last year’s championship game, won 79-77 by Portland State.

No. 5 seed Northern Arizona takes on No. 4 seed Montana in Missoula. Montana swept the season series against the Lumberjacks, who are back in the tournament after a one-year absence.

Big Sky TV and B2 Network will bring you men’s and women’s tournament action next week for free. Tuesday’s men’s semifinals, along with all five women’s tournament games will be available fore free on Big Sky TV.

The first men’s semifinal begins at 4:30 p.m. Mountain and features No. 2 seed Northern Arizona. Top-seeded Weber State takes to the court at 7 p.m. Mountain. Wednesday’s championship game will only be available on ESPN2.
