MSU's Seidensticker Named Player of the Week

OGDEN, Utah (December 28, 2010) - Montana State’s Lyndi Seidensticker has been named the Big Sky Player of the Week for games played the week of December 20th through the 26th. This is the second weekly award for the senior from Spokane, Wash.
Seidensticker averaged 18 points, 9.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.0 steal as the Bobcats posted their first two home wins of the season. In MSU’s win over Cal State Bakersfield on December 20th, the Spokane native tallied 17 points and hauled down a career-high 10 rebounds, for her first double-double of the season. Seidensticker also connected on four three-pointers, while dishing out four assists.
In the Bobcats’ record-breaking 107-58 win over Pacific on December 22nd, Seidensticker posted 19 points and nine rebounds. She finished the game shooting 70 percent from the field. For the week, she shot 50 percent (12-24) from the floor and 60 percent (6-10) from beyond the arc.
