Here at the conference office we realize how hard it is to keep all the soccer postseason scenarios straight. We have put together a cheat sheet for you, below is the breakdown for all the schools that are still in the running for the Big Sky Championship.
Portland State (13 points)
• has clinched a berth in the postseason
• will win conference title outright and host championship with a win versus Sacramento State
• will win conference title outright and host championship with a tie versus Sacramento State and a Northern Arizona loss or tie to Northern Colorado
Northern Arizona (12 points)
• will win conference title outright and host championship with a win at Northern Colorado, and a Portland State loss to or tie to Sacramento State
• can miss the postseason if they lose to Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington, Sacramento State, and Idaho State all win
Sacramento State (10 points)
• will win conference title outright and host championship if they win versus Portland State, Northern Arizona loses to or ties Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington loses to or ties Montana
• can miss the postseason if they lose to or tie Portland State, and both Idaho State and Eastern Washington win
Eastern Washington (10 points)
• will win conference title outright and host championship with a win at Montana, Portland State loses to Sacramento State, and Northern Arizona loses at Northern Colorado
• will clinch a berth in the postseason with a win against Montana
Idaho State (9 points)
• In with a win over Weber State and a Portland State win or tie against Sacramento State or
• In with a win over Weber State and a Northern Arizona loss to Northern Colorado or
• In with a win over Weber State and an Eastern Washington loss or tie to Montana
Montana (7 points)
• can get into postseason with a win over Eastern Washington and a loss from Idaho State
Northern Colorado and Weber State
• cannot qualify for conference tournament.
